We all get bored of the same old movie every weekend, don't we? So why not try something new? Express Raja is a film about an Indian-American who moves back to India after living in the United States for many years. The film is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and stars well-known Bollywood actors Aditya Pancholi, Gulshan Grover, Raaj K. Kanwar, Neelam Kothari, and Shamita Shetty. Express Raja was released in 2009 in Hindi with English subtitles. This film is about an Indian-American man, Rahul (Pancholi), who goes back to India in search of his roots. The result is a hilarious comedy that leaves you begging for more. So what are you waiting for? Get your friends together, pop in the movie and have a blast! The movie starts out with a few opening credits along with some background music. Next, we are introduced to the main character in the film, Rahul (Aditya Pancholi). He is presumably in an airport lounge in India talking with someone on his cell phone when he seems to get bad news. That is when he decides to make a quick exit from the airport lounge by jumping up on one of those luggage carousels. But, of course, the luggage doesn't move, so he is left hanging high above the ground. With his pants around his ankles he calls out for help. For the rest of the movie, Rahul is shown to be very impatient and impulsive. He ends up getting himself into trouble because of his impatience. For example, in the beginning, he tries to get away from a fan who was chasing him by jumping onto an escalator. He gets caught on the escalator because someone did not recognize him and let him pass through. Another time he makes a bad decision by getting into a car that his friend Gadhi (Raaj Kanwar) has borrowed without asking permission to use it. Rahul is very annoyed when his friend, Gadhi, attempts to teach him how to drive a car. Rahul is still too eager to learn and runs over Dina (Shamita Shetty) in the process. Rahul finally gets his driver's license but he decides not to use it because he does not want to get busted by the police. His impatience surfaces again when he gets into an argument with his professor, Professor Gupta (Supporting Role), who tells him that driving is boring and that there are many other ways for him to get around India before he can drive a car properly. The end of the movie shows Rahul helping out in his family's business. He has taken over the job of running the company, but his father Suresh (Supporting Role) does not appreciate this and makes him work around the clock, much to his displeasure. While Rahul is working around the clock at the family business he gets ideas for other things he wants to do which were inspired by his professor's words in the movie. He sets up a video camera in order to film everything that happens at night. He also sets up another camera in order to film Rahul having fun with his friends. At one point, he goes out with Laxmi (Gulshan Grover) to buy her some make-up for her audition for an upcoming modeling contest. cfa1e77820
